Our Story
When Craig Donaldson, a skilled metal fabricator, immigrated from New Zealand in 2006, he had a vision in mind. While working as a millwright for Lane Forest Products in Eugene, he nurtured his dream of owning his own business. In 2009, Craig took a leap of faith and established KiwiFab Inc. within the confines of his own workshop. The success of KiwiFab soon outgrew its humble beginnings, prompting a move to a larger facility in Eugene.
Throughout his journey, Craig never lost sight of his ultimate goal—to introduce Colorbond’s® immensely popular metal privacy fencing from Down Under to Oregon and beyond. This vision led him to collaborate with KD Rogers, a financial consultant at KiwiFab, resulting in the birth of DuraBond. Serving as the President and majority partner of DuraBond, Craig offers comprehensive leadership and plays a crucial role in import negotiations, all while successfully managing KiwiFab. Meanwhile, KD, as the Vice-President, focuses on sales, customer service, marketing, communication, financial management, warehousing, and distribution. Despite her demanding role at DuraBond, KD skillfully manages her investment properties.
